Nonsense! If it weren’t for him being morbidly obese, with asthma, heart condition, and having been in a fight previous to his resisting arrest, he would probably be alive today.
Again, watch the videos and see how the whole thing went down.
I didn’t know much about it, and had no formed opinions. I found the first video, which doesn’t the ambulance arriving. I then found the second, which does.
The man resists, and it takes several officers just to get him under control. He says I can’t breath, and the officer lets go. It takes 10 seconds for the officer to get off the guy’s back, as there are many officers around him.
The put on the ground, on his face. He complains, and an ambulance is there within 3 minutes.
The finding by the coroner was political.
And that was most definitely a choke hold - I watched the video. I’ve administered many choke holds and taught the same to many Ju-Jitsu students. It looked just like every other choke hold I’ve ever seen.

I gather you’re an expert at choke-holds. So I also gather you also know more than medical experts?
Experts who found no bruising or any damage to Garner’s throat or windpipe.
Experts agree that a chokehold which can kill a person will be evident by bruising, crushing, and damaging the areas around the throat or neck. As you know, Garner had no damages found there.
But Ahhh! You watched a video! So in your expert analysis - you are right and experts (like the coroner) are wrong.
I see. Carry on.
