NYPost ^ | July 30, 2017

Meet the des-RUDE-as! Costumed characters in Times Square are giving the finger to attempts to rein them in, refusing to stay in designated areas and continuing to curse in front of kiddies and threaten passers-by for dough. Modal Trigger

Foul-mouthed desnudas, grabby Hulks and tourist-terrorizing gangs of Minnie Mice are still brazenly holding the Crossroads of the World hostage even amid a heavy presence of NYPD cops, who act oblivious to their disturbing antics.

It’s nearly this bad on the Las Vegas strip too these days.

Supposedly they can’t legally “DO” anything because the sidewalks are public property and the ACLU has fought in the courts for the costumed characters right to make money on the public streets.

You can clearly hear Spanish being spoken in the video.
These ladies are very aggressive; they obviously feel like they're untouchable. At least the pushers and pimps used to show something that could conceivably be classified as discretion.

Times square - really bad in the past, got better, now getting worse again. Cheap quick $$$ seems to bring out all the tawdry stuff sooner or later, in one form or another.

“”my children were brain washed in college to believe a fictitious version of American history and on and on.””

In my 80th decade, I’m of the belief that we were also brainwashed...the country probably always has been run by crooks and Congress always has been corrupt but our parents
weren’t subjected to or had the resources available to them that we’ve had for so many years to learn that it’s REALLY NOT a government “of the people and by the people”....it’s more “of the powerful” and “for the powerful”. Sure, we grew up during FDR’s time and heard about scandals and rumors but nothing as blatant as today and certainly nothing as morally unconscionable as today!

“”right to make money on the public streets.””

Is that what it’s called? MAKING MONEY? Where the heck did they get the idea that panhandling was MAKING MONEY?

If they really want to MAKE MONEY, they can run for political office and rape the taxpayers!

A freeper took me to task for objecting to Scaramucci’s language last week - obviously a Marine 5 star general today took objection to the same thing. Wonder if he/she would like to apologize???

No, they've just defined the general as a "deep-state establishment saboteur."

I'm serious: go read some threads.

Here’s a thought:
Put on a pair of nylon overalls, like the old retired men wear in Florida when it’s cold. Get some fiberglass insulation from Home Depot. Tear the glass in small bits and rub it all over the arms, legs and torso of your leisure suit. Walk right up to these desnudas with a handful of 1$. Get a few picks made with these gals. Itching? Why senora, yo no se?

In my 80th decade, ...

You are 790+ years old! Wow, do I have some questions to ask you! To start with, where did you live in 1600?

#3: "I used to live in this quaint place called AMERICA. Wonder what became of it."

America begins where New York City ends.

My guess is that Comrade Mayor DeBlasio is running them from behind the scenes. Takes 50% of their take and he “sanctuary cities” them and has ample re-election funds.

The return of Dinkin’s New York. I used to go to NYC occasionally during college with some friends back in the late 80’s. I remember the old porn-filled Times Square and the Washington Square Park where drug dealers used to set up tables with their products displayed. It was bad, and this seems like the beginning of that trend again. What next — return of the extortionist “squeegee people”?

You know how the socialists have mistaken the dystopian novel ‘Nineteen Eighty-four’ as a primer instead of a warning?
There are parts of ‘A Handmaid’s Tale’ that I think should be aired-out in public venues, e.g. the public hangings of reprobates.

... a Marine 5 star general ...

Who’s the 5-star? I recall that Ike was one, but he’s gone.

Good posting, TYR, and I agree with you about the corruption decades ago before the media coverage we now experience.

Sorry - 8th decade - and what I experienced in those 80 years shall remain a secret....

Appears I should have closed down last night while I still had my wits about me....
