The moocher “...was a savy and sophisticated shopper...”? I stopped reading there. The moocher was mainly a welfare queen gone large. The Worst Lady had a large staff who kissed her immense a** constantly.
Never thought of Jackie as some icon....and her voice drove me nuts.

I thought Vogue magazine was in the business of promoting opulent clothing. Nobody would wear anything in their pages they are certainly right teen very snippily about Melania. Shows their politics.

After 8 years of having a wookie as first creature, Melainia is a refreshing sight of class, dignity, respect, and most of all.... silence.
LOVELY MELANIA. They are going to have to add another wing in the White House for her wardrobe and accessories. :)
Camelot, my foot. Jackie was a cunning nitwit—with eyes so far apart she looked like a flounder. Melania is the first FLOTUS with this breathtaking fashion presence. I do wish we could have a magazine devoted to just what the Trump ladies wear.

Well I knew any Vogue article would be a bit snarky, but that’s a great slide show! It’s really dizzying the volume of incredible outfits she has worn.

Trump has stuck to luxury fashion across the board. Even her off-duty wardrobe is filled with high-end designer brands of the most opulent kind
First of all, so what? She made her own money; her husband is no slouch in that department either.
Second of all, I think it is befitting that the wife of the most powerful man in the world be well-groomed and attractive.
How many times did the former First Lady look disheveled and frumpy, especially in that famous picture of her walking up the stairs with the wives of two foreign leaders (France and Italy I believe). Carla Bruni (hope I'm remembering her name correctly) and the other woman were lovely, slim, in gorgeous dresses, while Michelle Obama had this huge puffy skirt and probably another boob belt.
Then there's that other pic that shows her in rumpled shorts coming off of AF One.
Kudos on her supposed frugality (hah!), but she just didn't present America very well on the world stage.
