To wade of Chinese demon, RSS wants you to chant this 'mantra'

The RSS has asked all Indians to chant a 'mantra' before their prayers. " Let Kailash, Himlaya and Tibet be delivered from the demonic clutches of China.'
RSS pracharak and national executive Indresh Kumar told Mail Today: "Kailash, Himalaya aur Tibet Cheen ki asuri shakti se mukt ho" (Kailash, Himalaya and Tibet be delivered from the demonic clutches of China). This is the mantra or 'sankalp', translated into 'resolve', that the RSS wants every Indian to chant five times before starting their prayers. This will not just hurt the core interest of China, but also infuse spiritual energy in the efforts and will create positive action."
China has become a votary of violence. It has moved away from Confucianism and has adopted a imperialist and expansionist character, Kumar also said.
They have captured the territory of several countries such as India, Nepal, Bhutan, apart from having captured Tibet. Doklam was saved from their clutches only as Indian and Bhutanese soldiers pre-empted Chinese design," he also said.
The statements come in the wake of the standoff between India and China at Doklam.
National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval will visit China this week to take part in the BRICS summit where he is expected to raise the Doklam issue.
Am I right in assuming “To wade of” should be rendered “to ward off”?
Usually a dictatorship creates a border crisis when there are growing internal problems or strife. From what I am reading, the debt levels in China are at record levels. People are speculating on real estate and other hard assets. The crash when it comes may not be pretty.
“Wade off” = ward off, I presume?
If things go their way, it would boost Xi's standing when Chinese regime will have their big party conference this fall where major shuffling of power can happen.
