The weather has been as good as it gets here on Humboldt Bay. Morning fog, clearing about noon and temps in the mid to high 60s. Ten or fifteen miles east of us it is mid 90s to 110. The strawberries have pooped out but I still had one more picking of blueberries. Looks like our corn will be a month early this year...

I sure am jealous of that corn! I didn’t get nary a single one this year. On the bright side, the Schwan man had some organic corn kernels - a mix of white and yellow, so I bought some. I’ll add a handful to my veggie soup and maybe some chowders.

Looking at the sky in the background I am thinking are you RIGHT ON THE BAY????? If so we need more pictures. :)
PS Good looking soil for potatoes. Bet they are easy to dig.

Humboldt Bay?! We looked around between Eureka and Crescent City when looking to relocate. Beautiful area, fabulous year-round temperatures, and you can’t beat those redwoods!
