WASHINGTON — A D.C. police officer has been pulled off the streets and an internal investigation is underway after a group of citizens filed a formal complaint about his T-shirt.

Law 4 Black Lives DC filed a complaint and posted an online petition demanding the officer be fired after they found a shirt he wore while allegedly on duty and in court “offensive, racist and threatening.”

“I don’t think someone should have a badge and a gun or the ability take someone’s life or arrest them if they may be harboring these kind of white nationalist viewpoints,” said Eugene Puryear with Law 4 Black Lives DC.

The photo of the back of the officer’s shirt depicts the Grim Reaper with the D.C. flag behind it, carrying a gun. Above the figure is a banner reading “Powershift” with the O swapped out for what Law 4 Black Lives DC calls a sun cross, “a well known and notorious white supremacist symbol adopted by the Ku Klux Klan.”

D.C. Police Chief Peter Newsham tweeted in response to the petition, “This is disgraceful and does not represent the hard working and committed officers of the Seventh District.”

Typical chicken s$&@ response by today’s cowering management types. In this case, groveling to the BLM. Disgusting.

Around the start of summer I bought a brown Spanish resort T-shirt with broken-up white lettering (on sale for five euros) and now my tan matches the brown.

If he wore it while on duty, was it part of his uniform?

If he was on duty, why was he not in uniform?

But, but, but, but... I thought all of us whites were racists. What’s next, no whites on the police force?

The Grievance Crew will always find something to complain about.

the proper response from the chief should have been “Dat officer dindu nuffin.”

A police officer has no business wearing anything on duty with a death related motif, whether racist or otherwise. Imagery of death is wholly inappropriate for a public servant in law enforcement who is supposed to be the go-to-person for people in distress and a representative of his district. This isn't brain surgery, this should be obvious to everyone how unprofessional the guy's shirt is.

2. Same goes for wearing anything with a commercial logo or "non-police related" advertising.

3. Same goes for wearing campaign buttons or political ads.

Come to think of it, a cop has no business wearing anything but a plain uniform when at work.... the T-shirt beneath the uniform blouse should be unadorned even if never seen.

If it wouldn't look right on Andy Griffin...

Wrong. It's entirely inappropriate and nobody is groveling to anyone. What's disgusting is that you would think promotion of white supremacism is appropriate under any circumstances.

If you think this shirt is appropriate to be worn by a police officer on duty, or at a court appearance as an officer of the law, then you probably don't belong on this site.

You need to reconsider your mindset. The symbolism on the T-shirt is overtly racially antagonistic...

Give these black racists an inch and they’ll take a 1000 miles. Now that we’ve started giving in to them we’ll have to do it endlessly.

All of these Black Nationalist groups like BLM and this clown group in DC will always be perpetual victims and always offended. Personally I think they are all terrorist groups and should be treated as such. They can all rot in hell for all I care. Barry started this crap and I despise him more and more every day.

So what do you call a group that demands special rights over other groups?

What if he wore a Grateful Dead shirt?

Since that's would be "neither here nor there", at least he'd be able to make the argument that it wasn't "controversial" or "political" speech.

But, again, if it was while he was on duty or appearing in court as an officer of the law, it would still probably be frowned upon.

In any event, the two cases are apples and oranges, for obvious reasons...

Wrong, I guess. But what does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

In any event, if such a T-shirt were being worn by a cop under the same circumstances, then it, too, would be categorically inappropriate, of course...

What, exactly, is the “Law 4 Black Lives DC campaign”? And, who funds it?

Eugene Puryear is a communist, a Stalinist (once Trotskyite) to be precise. He’s a longtime frontman and then presidential or VP candidate for the “Workers World Party”, the only US communist party that really supports North Korea.

Operates out of DC and was involved in WWP fronts including “ANSWER” (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism), possibly their “ICAC” (International Action Center), and Refuse and Resist, among other communist fronts.

Apparently he’s an open red to his friends and in the WWP paper “Workers World”, but not to the local media, the Wash. Post and even the Washington Times. Don’t know about how the Washington Examiner covers him.

Contact your local media and demand that they properly identify this enemy of America and his various front operations, including “Law 4 black Lives DC Campaign”.

So this constitutes a direct connection between Black Lives Matter and a North Korean terrorist group. That means Puryear & Co. could/should be placed in detention should a crisis with North Korea break out.
