I would think that an Airbus A320 would have a cockpit alarm when the gear is not retracted after reaching a certain altitude.

I'm fairly certain this is a standard feature in almost all Boeing aircraft.

The alarm is placed in a spot on the control panel where it is convenient to put down a makeup mirror.
