I read the Orchid Thief many years ago. Used to grow a lot of them too, had over 30 there for many years. Now I’m down to 3. Cured myself of that sickness.

LOL! I've owned exactly one orchid in my lifetime, and that was before I read that book. After I read it, I decided that I do not want to tempt any addiction to Orchids...but their evil, insidious wiles are always beckoning from the outer edges of my mind ;-)
