He needs to find a way to move to a more suitable home with no steps, or purchase a stair stepper powerchair or an outdoor elevator or a lift or trolly system. All are expensive. Also, a van with a lift or a transfer seat for his car that comes out to get you. Hopefully, he has a good job because he’ll probably have to go into debt to get it done. Been there, done that.
And if I had to be on my knees on a daily basis it wouldn’t take me long to find knee pads. I doubt I would have even one knee infection.
Instead it looks like they are pushing for a government fix it all plan that is going to make everyone's life harder to fix a tiny minority’s problem.
