A lineup with classics and fresh shows...can’t remember Beat the Band...a waste of time with Superman...scifi with Exploring Tomorrow...Escape is a lineup highlight...Philip Marlowe is fun...and ending with On Stage with a play I’ve not heard of.
How’s it going?
Hi, Vision! Just checking in briefly. I’m visiting my Mom in TX, and Keith is back home on his own. :-) How’s it going?
I’m blessed Gina. How’s TX?
It’s fine, hot like an oven. :-)
Happy Sunday Gina, I’m in Italy, going to listen for a few before passing out. You doing well?
Nuts it’s only 6pm edt. Oh well.
Hola, Vision Italiano!
We’re doing fine. Just got back from playing a few holes on the beach course where Keith works. It’s a nice day.
Have a good, safe trip!
No new thread this week?
Viking, Vision is in Italy. I would’ve posted a thread, but I didn’t know he was going to be gone. Even though we don’t listen to Murray. We tune in to 20th Century Radio when it’s time for the Big Broadcast.
How are you doing?
Vision seems to be making trips to Italy a pretty regular thing. And what's the website for 20th Century Radio? Here I thought everybody was still listening to Murray The Lib.
I’m sorry to hear your health troubles are continuing. I know that must be very scary for you and Mrs. Viking. You’ll be in my prayers.
20th Century Radio just plays old time radio shows, no jocks, only liners. Their website seems to be messed up sometimes: http://20thcenturyradio.com/ But you can also stream it on TuneIn: http://tunein.com/radio/20th-Century-Radio-s129131/
At 6PM Central on Sundays, they play Dragnet, Gunsmoke and other classics we’re used to. Their website has a full schedule of their shows on it, too. It’s a good alternative to Murray, even though there’s no announcer.
In this case, no announcer is better than Murray. And that website needs fixed, bigly. It took several minutes to load, most of the graphics and Flash content was broken, and after a few more minutes of buffering, I gave up.
That’s why I put the TuneIn link, too, which is not their website. TuneIn works fine to just play the station, instead of going to its website. But, eventually the site itself will load enough to see the schedule, if its of interest.
