Misguided Attempt to Free Thousands of Minks Goes Horribly Wrong (Libtards kill 40,000 minks)

Between 30,000 and 40,000 farm-raised minks were released into the wild near Eden Valley, Minnesota, earlier this week when burglars—presumably animal rights activists—cut the fence to a mink-pelt farm and opened the cages holding the mammals, letting them run into the wild.

Minks are strange little creatures somewhere between otters and ferrets, and when they run, their front halves and back halves teeter independently like two people pretending to be one horse. While the idea of tens of thousands of minks flopping through a pasture is quite amusing, the minks’ liberation likely came at a price: Farm-raised minks aren’t really able to make it in the wild. Many of the minks died once released because of the heat. The ones that were recovered alive were haphazardly thrown into pens, which disrupted their social groupings and drove the minks to kill one another.

Farm-raised minks aren’t really able to make it in the wild.

The minks currently live on a mink-pelt farm, which means that they essentially exist to eventually be killed. But still, the move to liberate them is destined to fail. Dan Lang, owner of the Minnesota farm the minks escaped from, told the St. Cloud Times that he estimates half of his minks are already dead. “I wish these people that did this would come here every day for two weeks, and they could help pick up the dead ones,” he told the Times. Lang has already started rounding up the dead. In piles, they look like logs of wood during different stages of charring.

The Trinity is a very basic tenant of Christianity, seems pretty clear to me.

My understanding is they are too stupid to be able to survive on their own.

Without reading further posts I have to ask; is this any way to talk about leftists?

Me: Oh hell yeah!!

This was done in England in 1998. The minks killed ever little creature in sight, pets, birds, rabbits, everything.

Interesting, who do you suppose the US and OUR..are??

I had thought that it was merely the "royal we" in English, but it goes at least back to the Latin Vulgate Bible with "et ait faciamus hominem ad imaginem" where faciamus is first person plural for make.

That’s always been my motto. I’m an ardent animal lover and sometime animal activist, but minks were born to be coats. And the foxtail collar on my good wool coat? Belonged to an old fox who died in bed surrounded by his family.

The angels. They’ve never liked us.

When He made the angels, they were sentient already, with free will and knowledge of good and evil. Some of them struck out on their own and left His company voluntarily.
That P’Od God verily.

We humans were pretty much just the head of the food chain in the garden, a sinecure, walking around like buck nekkid kings of creations critters. But Eve was hoodwinked an talked Adam into it, and we took the knowledge for ourselves and were promptly booted out.

Here’s the sauce:
Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever—” therefore the Lord God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken. He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life. (Genesis 3:22–24)

Angels: “Yes!” Apparently God wanted docile, empty headed mini-angels, but now facing more rebellion in the future but unwilling to slay us—were pretty much thrown under the bus.
Yes, I think the angels resented us. The ancient Greeks had similar beliefs: that the gods resented mortals because of our mortality. Everything is sweeter, better when you know the times you will enjoy these things are as numbered as the hairs on our heads. Immortality must make one jaded.

Anyway, I suppose the angels thought, like oldest children or children of a first marriage: “What? We’re chopped liver? We’re not good enough? He had to have more? And they die!” But He still kept us around.
There’s going to be a quiz on this.

They know the minks will die. That’s a good outcome to them.

I remember reading about animals ‘right” activists who turned some dogs loose near a highway (of course they died). Others of their kind remarked, “at least they died free.”

These people are low lifes.

Absolutely God gave man Dominion over animals. He also put them under our care. Before you start thinking I’m some rabid animal rights activist let me explain.

I don’t agree with the cultural activity of clubbing seals. I think if that’s part of your culture your culture is barbaric. I don’t like that elephants and rhinos are being killed just for their tusks, while they are left to rot.

Deer hunters in this country for example, care more about the deer population and do more to keep them healthy than any damn animal rights group. If they had their way, deer would weigh 30 lbs, starving and riddled with disease. And in some areas, California for example, that is the case. So to me, that is a prime example of having Dominion over and taking that responsibility seriously. You don’t kill animals just for the sake of killing them, you kill them for food, if a particular animal or group of animals become a threat to humans, ( I’m thinking The Ghost in the Darkness here) and sometimes they have to be culled for their own good because of overpopulation and disease.

What these idiots did probably caused the minks much more suffering than just leaving them be.

As The Dude said, "the royal we, you know, the editorial"...

Like Queen Victoria said, "We are not amused."

The use of the 'royal we' (the 'pluralis majestatis' or 'majestic plural') had previously been restricted, as one might expect, to royalty; for example, Queen Victoria's celebrated 'we are not amused'.

She also forgot to take the rubber bands off of its claws.
Not that it would have made a difference in fresh water.

A lot of conjecture going on there. Some fuel for your thoughts:

1Peter 1:12 "It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things."

Hebrews 1:14 "Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?"

1 Cor 6:3 "Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!"

Recall that Jesus is a man, not an angel. Hebrews 1 & 2 is a very informative read.

They are VERY EASY to trap, alive and unharmed if that is the way you want them... of Fur Bearing animals they are easier than Muskrat, Nutria or Beaver... and those are super easy.
Too bad I was in the Military and couldn’t go fix their problem for them, that would have been fun! (and profitable)
