You might want to take a little time and think further ahead than do I want to take this job or not. Making a 5 year plan, a 10 year plan and a life plan helps you make good decisions and not just choose the job today that offers the best benefits and starting pay.
Advice I gave to my offspring:
When you're young build your skill sets, in mid-life look to expand your opportunities. Worry about building up your assets later in life.
Worry about building up your assets later in life. That's terrible advice.
When young, live cheap, work hard, and invest for the long term. The time value of money is on your side.
If you're fifty and don't have enough to retire (if forced), that's a big red flag.
