Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s first biological child has embarked on hormone treatment to block the development of female sexual characteristics according to a report by AFP. Shiloh is 11 but has known since he was four that the gender assigned to him at birth is not the one he identifies with.

I could see this coming seven or eight years ago.
What may have started as a childish lark, wanting to wear her brother’s team sweater may have been interpreted as a conclusive declaration of Bio-Gender Rejection, never ever to be questioned or discouraged by anyone. Shades of Munchasen by proxy! Wonder what her grandparents think about this. Have they been ‘forbidden’ from discussing it with their granddaughter? As per Angelina’s directives?
Who knows, this decision may have been part of what broke up the marriage. It’s been well known that Brad was severely henpecked by his wife. Maybe that led to his drinking too much.

CHILDREN do not know crap about their gender. ADULTS are idiots that mislead children into thinking gender is a choice, not a biological fact.

My bad! I thought Shiloh Jolie Pitt was a boy. Now I understand that Shiloh is a girl. How are they going to make this girl into a functioning male?
This girl is a child who is going to be subjected to dangerous hormone treatment when she is not ready to make the change into adulthood. This should be outlawed by the medical industry until males and females have been through the change from puberty into a relative stable hormonal situation in adulthood around the age of 18. Everything in between is NOT indicative of what that child will become in true adulthood when their own hormones come into play. This is, indeed, child abuse and the scariest thing is that the American medical profession is not speaking out loud and clear about what could happen in the future to these young children forced to undergo this treatment by their crazy parents. Hormone treatment in a child could result in life long aberrations to all of the glands in the body. Thyroid problems alone could make for lots of misery in the recipients of this treatment. As a medical person myself, I can barely stand the thought of this.

Your questions prove that you are part of the normal minority in this country. Every time I mistakenly pick up a copy of People magazine in a doctor’s office, I realize (a) I have never heard of most of these people, and (b) I could not care less about them.
When I was 4 I was a tomboy. I loved to climb trees, play sports (I hated dolls and wouldn’t play with them), and I hated to wear dresses. I remember telling my parents I really wanted to be a boy. They both looked at me and said “We’re sorry you can’t be one, God made you a girl. It’s ok for you to like doing boy things, but you are not a boy,” As I got older, my tastes changed. I still love sports, but I’m all woman :0) I thank God my parents had the sense they had!

When I was 4 I just barely knew that I was alive...let alone what gender I "identified" with.However I did know that at 4 I liked cowboy films,toy guns and helping my Dad with the yard (although I doubt I was much help).
