He left the keycard in his truck-——he goofed. If this guy was there to change the lock, I don't understand why he couldn't just remove the lock... I must be missing some info in this story.

I’m one of the two people in the USA who has never watched a complete episode of Seinfeld. It aired during the period when I spent a lot of time in Africa. While home, I lived in the boonies with neither TV nor Cable.
I did drive to town to watch ACC & SEC football, just to keep my intellectual faculties exercised...
