I was 10 and we were experiencing a 10 day heatwave of 93 or higher during this time in July. Really loved being in the car during that time with hand crank windows, no AC, and vinyl seats.

I was in the USAF in 1977 and stationed in Germany, just north of Mannheim, having the time of my life! I had good duty and got to see Europe before it turned into an Islamic $#!+hole.

THE MUSIC OF THE SEVENTIES WAS GREAT!

Oh man...the music. Right at the Dawn of Disco but rich with some of the greatest Rock 'n' Roll ever.

I was an intern on the assignments desk at a local network-affiliated TV station. Got hired right after college graduation the next year and had the honor of trying to manage one of the weekend reporters name of Oprah Winfrey.

My first mortgage was a three year adjustable with a 16% rate. And I was happy to get it.

My current mortage, 35 years later, is about 3%.

I was a big Elvis fan, and just getting old enough that my parents thought I would remember his concert. So my older brother runs to me outside acting all excited, and asks if I wanted to go see Elvis..I said yes getting all excited. Then he said, you can’t , he’s dead...
