Carusone, who previously worked for congresswoman Gabby Giffords, was in Arizona campaigning for Clinton right up to election night. The next day, she and Gardner agreed to put the rye whiskey on hold, not sure exactly what to do with it.

“So the next time you need a drink that tastes like ass, makes you feel like you’ve been shot in the head, and may in fact kill you, go out and get yourself a bottle of Rodham Rye...known in finer establishments as ‘Old Corrupt Bitch’.”
Just curious, as a bartender did you notice a lot of women ordering martinis? It seems lately that it’s the drink of choice for many of them.
As a woman, it seems like a lot of alcohol. One martini and I’d be under the table. I’m surprised at how many women are tossing them back.
I haven’t tended bar in many years but no, martinis were not a choice then. Lots of tonics, gin or vodka, cubes, drivers, etc. I think martinis are a trend again now though.
Quick funny story. Friend and I left Bakersfield to drive to Santa Monica and said we were gonna stop at every bar we passed with a drink on the sign and have one. Remember back when when a cocktail bar had martinis on their signs? Well we were shocked at how many did. Almost didn’t make it to Santa Monica. lol
