The bear was hungry or threatened.
(...oh sorry, was I not supposed to upset the liberal retard author.)

This happened about 15 miles from my house. I can see the area from my back deck. We had a bull moose walk across the yard on Friday morning.
They think they found the bear, a 280 pound male that they estimate was 40 years old. The wildlife officers dispatched it.

Three words: Karelian Bear Dog.
Don’t leave home without one!

Because the liberal moonbats like Sierra Club are loading us up with predators to rewild the country.
People should be stacked and packed in apts in cities.

On several threads there were hundreds of replies like"Please don't shoot the bear. It was HIS land."
Etc etc.
Just wait till the wolves start grabbing kids.

Maybe Dylan’s head looks like a pic-a-nic basket to Yogi.

I’ve heard of one case where a bear dragged off one of a pair of campers in the night. They found her half-eaten body a few hours later, before tracking down the bear itself. Respect nature by being ready to kill it if necessary.

Because it’s a bear, a wild animal.

40 years old is ancient for a bear in the wild .

They have pretty good rules about bears in Colorado. Don’t molest or feed the bears. As long as the bears stay shy about people, no harm, no foul, people and bears get to do their business without interference.
Once a bear loses it’s innate fear of humans, it is quickly dispatched.

Maybe the bear was dragging Dylan to get him away from a really bad bear that was running around in the area smoking cigarettes and playing loud music.
We may have a case of bear heroics here.

Its going to be a long summer with bears until we start getting some moisture," Lewandoski told local reporters.Wut? This has been a very wet spring and summer so far. Haven't seen things this lush and verdant on the Front Range for some years now.

Old bear too slow and with such poor eyesight & teeth that it needed an easy meal + camper who uses green apple scented shampoo ...not a good mix.
