OK just saw a report on FoxNews, saying someone filed for 2020 campaign for The Rock

Alright.

I support Donald Trump. Don't get me wrong.

But I thought is was worth commenting on, that evidently someone has filed the paperwork for the 2020 race, for the Rock.

Donald Trump has also filed, I believe.

I support Donald Trump. But I might also support the candidacy of The Rock.

Maybe. We will see. Going to be an interesting next election.

So, what do you know about the Rock’s full-spectrum political beliefs/stances that make you think he would be good for the People?

If he’s “friends” with Obama, he is unfit for any public office.

I do not know enough about his political positions yet.

I do like the guy.

He’s quite successful, he’s thinking about this, and a lot of people are paying attention.

Just think it’s worth considering. I agree, I do not know enough about his positions to really take a stand. But I like him. A lot of people do.

I like Trump also. Quite a bit.

Your easily swayed by shiny objects and glittery baubles aren’t you?

High school girls are swayed by celebrity.

If Johnson is looking to run for President in 2020,
it’s to RUN AGAINST Trump.

Trump might not have experience in politics, but he’s getting it real fast now. BUT, he has YUGE experience as being a chief executive.

Rock doesn’t have that.

What are Rocks stands on issues?

What issues does Rock have that you prefer over Trump.

What type of people does Rock surround himself with, to advise him or influence him?

Seriously. Trump is the incumbent.
To replace him in 2020 sends a signal that we aren’t happy with what Trump is doing.

Frankly, Myself, I’m STILL not tired of winning.

If you can’t answer any specifics as to what issues Rock stands for, or what Trump is doing wrong, or what Rock brings to the table that Trump doesn’t, then you’re doing nothing but being enamored with Rock, because he’s a celebrity and gave a GOP speech.

Sorry, THAT THERE is real real shallow.

“I support Donald Trump. But I might also support the candidacy of The Rock.”

And in one sentence the decline of this great nation has been personified.

Look I have supported Donald Trump since before he even announced as a candidate.

I support the guy. That said, until now he has NOT come through for me yet, on the two most important issues, to me.

1) The fence and immigration. Particularly the fence. I realize there are a whole passel of people who are invested in the sell-out of America by illegal immigration, but that is very important to me, and thus far, I am not satisfied with Trump (yet)

2) Global trade. Again, nothing.

I know it is very early. But Trump has not yet delivered on these two issues, and they are the two I am most concerned about. Not all the others. Those two.

Nothing yet.

Since he’s not delivered yet, I am willing to take a look in other directions.

The Rock is another direction.

It is still very very early. But he’s something possibly significant.

Maybe.

Maybe not. But maybe. I had the same feeling about Trump a long time ago.

In the meantime Trump, if you happen to read this, work on those two things please.

For real.

The wall. And global trade.

OK I’m through for now. Have a good one.

Doug’s never been that interested in his home state and I’m not interested in takers who think they’re entitled to a fat taxpayer salary with a golden parachute, while they’re going through a Swartzeneger/Ventura/Franken midlife crisis in their Hollywood cult-driven careers.

Trump earned his support the hard way, and he’s paying for it with the last best years of his life. He’s in it 100%, so I’m down with The Deplorables and the Don 100%

Dwayne should stick to modeling tires and doing voiceovers.

Michael Moore is championing the Rock. That says it all...I don’t think the Rock endorsed either Hillary nor Trump.

A lot of people liked Obama too.

He could speak good, when he had script writers and a teleprompter.

He offered people Hope and Change...with no substance.

Today, because people liked Obama, we have racial tension that we haven’t seen in 50 years.

Because people liked Obama, we have a $20 Trillion debt.

Because people liked Obama, the Middle East is almost burning down.

Because people liked Obama, we have perverts going in to “use” womens washrooms.

Because people liked Obama, we have perverts dick-tating policy in our armed forces.

Because people liked Obama, our friends didn’t trust us and our enemies didn’t fear us. (Thank God almighty, that has changed under Trump)

You say you don’t know enough about his political positions yet, but that you like the guy.

WHY...do you like the guy?
Because he portrays good characters in movies?
Because he made a good speech at a convention?
Because he looks good in tighty whities?

Granted, I like the guy to for the IMAGE he PORTRAYS.

But I realize that that could be all that that is is an image,
that he is portraying.

I want substance and character.

The Rock would be the first Pacific Islander to be in the White House. That said, I will see what his views are before I comment. However, if I want an actor in the White House, I'd go for Tim Allen or Tom Selleck.

That said, Go Donald...

“I’ll support Trump. Whether I’ll support any other Republican is questionable.”.....

Same here. The “Rock” comes to us via Hollywood and tells me all I need to know about him. He gets my “NO” vote!
