The Wall Fire grew from 2700 acres overnight to 4700 acres. The fire is located right up the street. This morning P G and E cut power to homes in the area. Evacuations everywhere one turns. For more information, #WallFire.
Listening to scanners last night and things got dicey around three am when there were reports of the fire jumping Miner's Ranch Road, but evidently that was not the case as of yet.
First it was the dam this winter and now the fire. The Fire began in an area that was hit about four years ago. It has now spread North and South. Currently the fire is only 17 percent contained with full containment a week away.
“located right up the street”
Pack up, lock up and get out safely. All it takes is a shift in the wind.
Stay safe out there.
Evacuation by choice is always best. You can’t predict fires. Go while you still can
What’s a “wall fire”? A wall of fire?
We want you and yours safe... time to get out of Dodge...
Praying for you and all in your area.
Remember that evacuating later can mean gridlocked escape routes.
We name our fires here in CA.
Guess CA could use all the rain it was getting during the Oroville Dam problem and even after that.. Probably Brown will go to Trump again with hat in hand for HELP.
if you’re in the area, get out NOTHING is worth your life.
5400 structures threatened. Latest map shows Oro-Bangor Road breached. Not good. Forbestown RD breached. Miners Ranch Road breached. All not good. 17% contained. 7500 evac warning 4000 evacuated. Think Oakland Fire if any of you remember. We do....
We are safe and have been. It’s better where we are as otherwise we would have been running around like chickens with our heads cut off trying to load crap up and trying to figure out what to save. Some folks lost all. Praying for everyone. I won’t give our location in Oroville or where we are now, suffice it to say that our home is in the potential path of the fire.
If it’s just up the street, you better get a go-bag ready, or better yet, pack and go.
