Hudek III, presumably his dad, is in his mid/upper 50s and appears to live in a standard middle class neighborhood. Jr/II or whatever would seem too old to be a honcho at Delta. So who is Hudek?
Watch his lawyer accuse the CA of assault with a wine bottle.
Do you know who I am
sounds like he was effected by it he had amnesia
Not that they will, but, PROMOTE HER!
Does IV have a son yet? No doubt he will be called “the 5th”
From the flight track, it looks like the pilot initially headed for Vancouver, but switched to Seattle when they got things under control.
Misleading headline — it makes the Delta flight attendant seem guilty of beating up ordinary passengers (and, of course, that was the intent of the headline).
It should have read: Heroic Delta Flight Attendant Puts Herself in Harms Way to Prevent Violent Passenger from Killing Everyone.
Will WLM (White Lives Matter) come to his defense?
“do you know who I am”
OMG, it was John Kerry!!!
Decorum and protocol demand a bottle of wine be allowed to breathe before serving, but in this case I’ll let it slide.
Where did this say he was flying first class or that he got a free ticket?
Where were the men on this flight?
Way more to this than just a bottle over the head. That didn’t even slow the guy down.
I have a hard time believing out of 207 passengers no one took a video of this.
"The battle in the galley near the cockpit of Delta Flight 129, which was headed to Beijing with 210 passengers and 11 crew aboard, began as the airliner cruised near Canada's western coast about an hour into the flight.According to a criminal complaint released Friday, Hudek -- who was traveling in first class on a dependent travel pass, a perk afforded to family members employed by the airline -- attempted to open the forward exit door on the right side of the airliner.
Two flight attendants tried to subdue Hudek but were pushed away, and he continued his attempt to open the door. According to the complaint, Hudek was able to move the door handle mechanism and push the emergency release lever halfway.
Aircraft cabin doors cannot be opened at high altitudes because of the differing pressures inside and outside the jet's cabin, and the Delta plane was cruising at high altitude, at 32,000 feet, when the incident happened. However, at a lower altitude, according to the complaint, it was possible the door might open." (KMOV.com)
Maybe his mom is the Delta employee.
Just checked Facebook. A Linda Hine Hudek from Tampa is a Delta customer service employee. I’m guessing she is Jojo’s mom.
After the fateful Flight 93 — “Let’s roll!” — the greatest security system on any flight is now the passengers themselves.
Never again will passengers passively submit to a troublemaker’s demands. Not with the risk of complete destruction now facing them.
From now on, whenever a drunk, hooligan, terrorist or garden-variety nutjob tries to disrupt a flight, there will be a militia response from the rest of the passengers. If the airlines want to help, please make sure there is a roll of duct tape on board. The passengers will take it from there.
“passenger who lunged for an exit door “
He could have killed everyone on the plane by opening the door mid-flight.
The flight attendant should get a medal.
