“John Lennon was a LBGT knucklehead?”

Perhaps (there is much speculation), but he was a serious leftist freak globalist.

Included below is a link to an article in which the title says “I interviewed John Lennon, and he was no ultra-left radical” but then if one reads past the first few paragraphs:

Lennon much regretted his earlier association with the radical left, as the contents of the chapter entitled “We’d all love to see the plan” (quoting from the song Revolution) make clear.

Writing in 1978, he stated: “The biggest mistake Yoko and I made in that period was allowing ourselves to become influenced by the male-macho ‘serious revolutionaries’, and their insane ideas about killing people to save them from capitalism and/or communism (depending on your point of view). We should have stuck to our own way of working for peace: bed-ins, billboards, etc.”

I also go by his words:

Imagine

Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today... Aha-ah...

Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace... You...

You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world... You...

You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one

No dispute John Lennon was a talented poet and musician...As usually happens in our celebrity preoccupied world, his talents and fame brought him a certain notoriety that caused his opinions to be sought after by the media types...

So, being human, and subject to all the character faults humans are predisposed to, he succumbed to the flatteries and freely held forth for public consumption on subjects he knew no more about than the guy who bagged his groceries or delivered his mail...

It’s as if expertise in one narrow field automatically somehow conveys to celebrities, politicians and titans of industry some special understanding the rest of us hoo-hoos in the hustings don’t have, in any other area of human events they decide to spew their nonsense...

This is an all too common syndrome today...The wealthy and famous, by nature of their wealth and fame, are sought out for their opinions...And the fact their heads are in permanent rectal defilade on most topics other than their own narrow fields, doesn’t slow them down a bit...We NEED to know what Bill Gates and Steven Hawking think about Globull Warming, don’tchaknow?

Camille Paglia is at least an honest liberal with a grounding in logic...Unlike Bill Nye “The Science Guy”...In my perfect world, they’d all just STFU...

When some in the Obama administration talked aobut Chairman Mao being their hero and when we were shown a picture of Chairman Maos face on a Christmas tree ornament under Clinton, I too reflected on Lennons words. Last verse of Revolution:

"You say you'll change the constitution Well you know We all want to change your head

You tell me it's the institution Well you know You better free your mind instead

But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow Don't you know know it's gonna be alright Alright Alright"
