One thing the media should have learned from the 2016 campaign season is that reporters really need to hit the road and do more shoe-leather journalism — get in the car and drive to places like downtown Arkansas and talk with the people who live there.

When I was in the Navy 69-73, we knew about the Seals. But very little beyond how bad ass they were and how hard the training was. Now way too many people know about them. And they know just enough to possibly cause harm..
