It could almost be worth sacrificing this seat to get rid of Ryan.
Hate to admit it but the same thought crossed my mind, it sucks when you have to think like that.
The conservative opposing Ryan is my preference.
I will agree with you if his colleagues could find the will to replace him as speaker. Let him warm the back benches.

And we can’t forget W. He never defended himself, was hugging Hitlery at Nancy Reagan’s funeral, etc. and Bush 41 kissing up to Clinton and Obama. It goes on and on....

What has Ryan ever done for us? I mean ever? He has stabbed conservatives in the back every single chance he gets. He fought as hard as he could to stop Trump.
Hell, just a day or two ago he attacked him hard about the tweeting.
Ryans main accomplishment seems to be explaining how much he dislikes Trump. I have no use for him and hope he loses.

Some knowledgeable Wisconsin Freepers have posted that Paul Nehlen is not a player (at least at this point in time). A year ago he had a miserable showing (roughly 20%). The voters in that district are RINOs.
I suspect the reason Eddie Munster was made speaker of the house is because the GOPe honchos figured Ryan's district was safe, unlike Cantor's. They didn't want a repeat of that.
If Nehlen had been competitive, say 45% or so, it might be a different story.
I voted for Trump. He promised to drain the swamp and back stabber Paul Ryan is the slimiest bottom dweller of all as far as I'm concerned.
The only problem is we don’t know who would replace him. We longed for Boehner to go and look what we got. If we could know his replacement would be an upgrade then sure.
I support removing Ryan from speakership.
I support primarying him out and replacing him in congress with another Republican.

That was then, when he admittedly says he started too late, and this is now that Ryan has a real track record of lying as a speaker whose party also have the Senate and the White House.

Yep, the whole party is infected with these bugs. Give it time though, give it time. I grew up in New York city and knew Trump since the 1970s, met him a lot of times. Very very down to earth guy, like anybody else the only difference is He NEVER loses. Even when it looks like he loses, he still wins. When he says he is going to “drain the swamp” believe me - That swamp is not only getting drained, it’s also getting scrubbed and bleached. While his enemies are playing checkers, he is playing 4D chess.
The guy just utterly obliterated a major TV network for Gods sake. That was all planned by the way, he set that all up, got all the required people involved and absolutely nuked CNN, that abomination of a station, they walked right into it and he’s barely 6 months in!!!
Anyway, one of my first jobs when I was a teenager was sweeping up his construction sites on weekends and he would personally bring us egg sandwiches and coffee although I refused the coffee and he would ask about our families and I would be a dick and say “fine” and walk away. I remember him asking me if I was cold and being the tough guy I said no even though I was freezing my ass off. That was in Queens NY doing some construction for his dad. I was use to it though, I belonged to this insane Boy Scout troop and we use to canoe down the Delaware in April and basically freeze half to death. But I didn’t know who the hell Trump was at the time, nobody knew. He only got famous in the 1980s.
