NH Driver Stopped With Mountain of Items Strapped to Minivan

This is how not to pack your car for your holiday weekend travel plans.
New Hampshire State Police issued a warning Wednesday about driving with items strapped to a car after a trooper stopped a driver on Interstate 93 with a wide variety of items strapped to it.
Advertisement Thomas McNeil, 57, of Belmont, was driving a white 2003 Honda Odyssey north on I-93 around 6:30 a.m. when Trooper Nicholas Iannone pulled him over to prevent a potential traffic crash.
Furniture, bicycles and boxes were just a few of the items apparently strapped to the roof. A wheeled basket dangled over the back window, and a furniture dolly was hanging against a driver's side window.
State police said the load was secured with electric cords and some rope.

Where I used to live in Georgia there were a lot of big, wealthy subdivisions that would have neighborhood yard sales. Professional dealers in furniture, baby items, etc., would come from all over to look for bargains. You would see cars and trucks packed like that every weekend during yard sale season. Every item they could fit was a bit more money in the bank.
