I got nothing against the woman. She’s the best woman tennis player ever.
She doesn’t say anything hateful and her father worked them to near death training them.
They came from a good work ethic and it paid off.
There’s a lot of black (and for that matter, white) stars and athletes that deserve scorn.

Wow! Did you EVER pay attention to cries of racism from the father when his girls had to play on a side court instead of the main court in a tournament? Did you ever hear the father whining about how every bad thing that happened to them was because of racism?

Tragic type of situation, severity and frequency of which is made worse by mobile phones, red light cameras, DUI and illegals driving w/o licenses or insurance. I do not know about other cities, but the population where I am seems to have exploded in the last 15 yrs. Our streets and highways were not built for this rate of pop’n growth.

Venus is outstanding, but it is her sister Serena who has dominated and won 23 majors. I think Venus has won 7 majors, not shabby at all.

It’s sad: A single moment of distraction may lead to a horrific situation, in this case apparently the death of an innocent person.
