A line has to be drawn and maintained. Our society has drawn it at alcohol. Move the line at your own risk--but we already know what happens when large numbers of people get addicted to crack and meth. Expanding that number is good for no one except the drug dealers.

But locking people up rather than making them productive seems a better approach. Either way...we get to $$$ for it.
