Seriously??? We saw the thread last night...and I JUST finished reading a Todd Starnes article about this teacher. Your book was mentioned specifically, LS.

Looks like they shut down Mr. Ponder already. Sigh...

I’m not sure I would have prepared a list which included so many pundits, columnists and the like. Why not conservative and free market classics?

The Bible as literature for summer reading ought to really incite the parents.

But parents became concerned that it leaned too far right...

Yeah, the same parents these kids are going to grow up to loathe.

Most of the books were by a single author: Savage.

It was a joke of a reading list.

I’m quite sure that if they authors had been some of my favorites, like Henry Hazlitt, Henry Grady Weaver, Frederic Bastiat, and Ludwig von Mises, the dumb parents wouldn’t have even known the difference.

The list is already out there. Pulling does nothing. Maybe a kid or two is curious about what their parents and teachers do not want them to read.

My teenage son is reading “Animal Farm”. “Brave New World” and “1984” are next on the list.

Yea, no summer reading!!! Wonder what else teens without supervision and homework can get into.

Deep South school boards are as liberal as any big city these days. Education is infested with the vermin of the left.

Sorry,

For some reason FreeRepublic took me back to 2015. Don’t know why. This was your post from June 2015, not March 15, 2018.
