‘We will not hesitate to defend ourselves’: US military refuses to be cowed after Russia threatens to target every coalition plane or drone it finds west of the River Euphrates in Syria.
[River Euphrates]
We seem to be marching towards the beginning of the Tribulation. There are many reasons for this, not the least of which the rise of Sodom and Gomorrah around the world.
The river Euphrates will be quite significant in the last 1/2 of the Tribulation, the Great Tribulation.
I urge all to pray and if you feel led to prep as best you can. I’m still handing out Gospel tracts from time-to-time and leaving a few here and there.
How can this happen if Trump is Russias puppet? Why would Putin shoot at his compatriots military?
Gen. Keane on Putin ‘Bluster’: Russia Won’t Shoot Down US Aircraft in Syria

... Keane said on “Fox & Friends” he sees the statement from the Kremlin as more “talk” and “bluster” by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“That’s rubbish. They’re not gonna shoot at U.S. airplanes. They’re not gonna take on the United States. They have very limited capability in Syria by comparison to U.S. capability,” said Keane, a Fox News military analyst.
It’s the first time in nearly 20 years that a U.S. fighter jet shot down a warplane in air-to-air combat. The last time was a Serbian jet downed in Kosovo in 1999.

I think they would.
The Russians had to say something. They said something, and that something means nothing.
That’s real cool and macho to say we won’t be cowed. It’s a neocon way of saying we are willing to have a shooting war with the Russians to protect ISIS.
Say what you want, the ISIS guys and our jihadi rebels on the ground saw a SU-22 attacking someone, and then saw a Hornet shoot it down.
That’s really got to be a good feeling for them to see that. Will we paint an ISIS emblem on our planes?
It’s past time for the US to remove all forces from this theater.
We have no interests in Syria. None.
Whether ISIS survives or is totally destroyed is not a compelling US interest.
Russia Threatens to Attack U.S. Planes in Syria Following Assad Jet Fighter Shootdown
... Repeated combat actions by U.S. aviation under the cover of counter terrorism against lawful armed forces of a country that is a member of the U.N. are a massive violation of international law and de facto a military aggression against the Syrian Arab Republic, said the Russian Defense Ministry.
Russia warned that planes from the U.S.-led coalition will be tracked by the Russian ground and air anti-aircraft defense systems as air targets in the areas where Russian aviation is on combat missions in the Syrian sky. The threat came up just short of promising to fire on those targets.
The Russians claimed the U.S. did not use the de-confliction hotline to warn them before shooting down the Syrian jet, and said Russian planes operating in the area could have been jeopardized...
...The attack stresses coordination between the US and ISIS, and it reveals the evil intentions of the US in administering terrorism and investing it to pass the US-Zionist project in the region, the Syrian government responded.
The Washington Post notes it was the first American downing of a Syrian jet since U.S. forces entered Syrias civil war in 2014, the first time a U.S. plane brought down a manned hostile aircraft in over a decade, and the fourth time in a month the U.S. military has been obliged to fire on pro-regime forces...
... The regimes forces have mounted large-scale attacks using planes, artillery, and tanks since June 17, an SDF spokesman said, as quoted by Reuters. If the regime continues attacking our positions in Raqqa province, we will be forced to retaliate and defend our forces.
Reuters notes that the Syrian government has previously suggested it would focus its efforts on other parts of Raqqa during the drive to liberate it from the Islamic State, so the attack on SDF forces appears to mark a change in policy. SDF units have reportedly liberated four districts of the city from ISIS and is fighting over another three, so the Syrian attack may have been meant to stall out the SDF offensive and prevent the Kurdish-led coalition from controlling a large portion of the city...
Why, again, are we over there?
>>Personally, I think Trump should STAY OUT of Syria. Its lose-lose, an between Assad and more Jihadis, I choose Assad
The purpose of the whole Russian collusion witch-hunt is becoming apparent. Trump is a pragmatist and knows that Syria means nothing to us, but if he backs away, the Progs and Deep State can point to this as “payoff” to Russia for the election.
Deep State wants a real war or something close enough to create another Trillion in debt.
I remember when conservatives were heatedly against a regime change war in Syria.
Trump is allowing his mad-dog military fanatics to talk him into getting sucked into the mideast sandtrap. I’m sick of U.S. interventions and spilling our blood for nothing. He should pull all our troops out of these crumbling places with a warning that any more terrorist attacks within our country or our troops on the direct order of whatever regime follows will be answered by overwhelming force to destroy them all.
Taking out Assad is BAD NEWS. Trying to nation-build in the middle east is BAD NEWS. Nothing ever works in these countries. As soon as we leave, it collapses. It’s either remain forever and bleed, or leave. One is unaffordable. Which one do we want?
