The one that got away.
Stink bait.
$2.8 million for catching a fish?
And they take it away on the result of a POLYGRAPH???
Was their any other evidence against this guy? I mean was his boat gone from the dock a few hours too early? or what...?
I would NEVER take a polygraph, and if $2.8 million was on the line I am sure my reactions would be skewed.

Let the lawsuits begin
That a fisherman could ever tell a lie is inconceivable.
He flounders at polygraphs
Having taken three in my lifetime (employment requirement), they could easily have swayed the results depending on how was hired to administer the polygraph.
This guy’s career is fin-ished.
Wonder if he is feeling any remoras.
Poly’s are not at all accurate.
“Scientific evidence relevant to the accuracy of polygraph tests for employee or preemployment screening is extremely limited: https://www.nap.edu/read/10420/chapter/2#3
The US government does not have much faith in the poly: http://www.apa.org/research/action/polygraph.aspx
https://www.nap.edu/read/10420/chapter/1
Every poly examiner I met admits the poly is NOT 100% accurate, but every poly examiner I met claims THEY are 100% accurate.
Is there any fisherman who could pass a polygraph test?
I was in a fishing tournament this weekend (King fish, Dolphin, Wahoo), we caught a 14 lb King fish. We got to the weigh in just in time, they weighed placed us 3rd place, told us the scales are now closed and you won 3rd. We show up at the awards dinner, a sponsor name was somehow written in as 3rd even though we were there at scale closing and they told us we were 3rd.
We did catch a 6’ blue marlin earlier before the king fish.
Ping!!
Anything to add on this?
People here don’t seem to realize that polygraphs are par for the course at fishing tourneys....even fresh water bass tourneys. Contestants agree to this condition when they pay their entrance fees. Don’t want to take one?.....Don’t enter the tourney.
Shake it off Phil. Time eels all wounds.
