Vice President Mike Pence celebrated Father’s Day by adding two new members to his family.
The Pences welcomed a new kitten and dog into their home, according to a posting by daughter, Charlotte.
“And with loss, comes new life ~ Welcome to our family, Harley and Hazel!,” Charlotte Pence posted Sunday. She included pictures of her family cuddling with a tiny grey kitten and her father getting licked by a black and white pooch.

Our 17 year old cat is very chubby. I called & called in the house one evening forever. We searched outside & I was really starting to worry when we found her, happy as a clam on top of a vent in a room we rarely use. It’s her go to place in winter . They are crafty, we worry our hearts out & they ignore us & lounge!
