I don’t get over Silver Spring way often, but I do like the Laurel one - especially their coffee. There’s just something about diner coffee; and there’s a very neighborhood feeling that you don’t find in a chain.

My husband has been working on his ham licenses, and he takes the tests up in Laurel. We’ve been stopping at the diner after the tests. It’s also not far from the Amish market (Dutch Country), and the huge thrift store up there.

Thanks for those tips! I don't get down to Laurel much any more, but could easily take Rt 1 instead of 95 or 29 for a change and check them out!
