One of the mainstay courses at the recently newsworthy Evergreen State College is an all-year course entitled “The Human Condition.” This 36-credit course has its inspiration from a book of the same name written by Hannah Arendt (1906-75). Humanism belief based on the “right” people with the “right” knowledge

And kill as many of those "corrupted" individuals as necessary till society reaches utopia - even if only the Marxist leaders are left alive! Nothing but inhumanity calling itself humanism. Only a fool would accept their twisted terminology.

Charles Ponzi claimed that his system was about 'financial investment' and Karl Marx claimed that his system was about 'humanity.'

Never the less, as history has labeled Ponzi's system a "criminal financial scheme," it should label Marx's system a "violent totalitarian scheme" - and not a "humanistic" political movement/system.

I think you understood it perfectly without realizing it... much of modern philosophy amounts to little more than verbal gibberish. To demonstrate this some wiseguy hired an actor to present a fake paper at a conference and no one caught on.

You are correct, existentialism is anti-thinking kind of thinking, even if you call it phenomenology. German philosophy is mind numbing and spends much energy in attacking the mind.

Existentialism is the epitome of thinking and, as such, can be a cruel mistress as opposed to wishful grasping at invisible straws.
