I always thought it funny that the guy the first hits Pesci with the bat in Casino, was played by the same guy who was Billy Batts in Goodfellas.

That's how the mafia needed to be depicted.

Or Don Fanucci in Godfather II. No wonder Vito Corleone was so popular, after he got rid of him.

I get that and the Michael character was phenomenal. But you are one of the few who consider Brando’s character a sideshow. He did win the Oscar (not bad for a sideshow) and I agree, Al Pacino was robbed of an Oscar, but Robert Duvall and James Caan probably split the vote.

One outcome of ‘TheGodfather’ was that the mob took it to heart and started kissing rings etc.

Made it much easier for the Feds to figure out the structure of the crime families.

Oops, you had Manos. Still, you need to see the Creeping Terror.

Absolutely.

Thanks to ‘The Godfather’, Feds had a real breakthrough in surveillance and were able to figure out the actual structure of the families.

Who was ‘made’, a capo, or just doing work.

Have not seen that one. The provided list includes many good movies, but misses many better ones.

I’ll take the latest Lego Batman movie over the live ones with the exception of the Adam We’s.

No one messes with Adam We.

Starcrash. A spaghetti knockoff that tried to cash in on 'Star Wars'.

So bad that it's actually on the MST3K reboot currently carried by Netflix.

I guess Gone with the Wind, Philadelphia Story and Casablanca are finally out of the Top Ten.

Five of my favorite American movies are How the West Was Won, The King and I, O Brother Where Art Thou, ET and The Princess Bride. But my really favorite movies that I watch again and again are foreign films.

Yes, Fargo was brilliant. Pretty much anything by the Coens. Also love the quirly Wes Anderson's stuff.

Yes, Braveheart was totally ace. But it's now politically incorrect, as is The Passion of the Christ also by Gibson.
