Maybe OK on a SR-71, but fuel leaking on a passenger plane is not a Good Thing.
Full fuel load going to Italy. Cold fuel on a hot tarmac. Vents have to open for expansion. I have seen 300 pounds leak out the vents from a parked plane. It has to or the rivets will pop like popcorn.
