If I were on the jury, the award would nearly bankrupt the airlines. Management does not comprehend manners, ethics or morals; but they do understand dollars.

A million? Not even close. He needs a better different and more greedy lawyer in Houston. I know one that is a Rottweiler type and he would just love this job. It woudl retire hime fat and happy.
There is no reason the Court wouldn’t entertain punitive damages in this case should the jury request it, or the Judge decide to do so. It would never get that high, but it should the UA’s attention. :-)
*AND* 10 years, hard labor for anyone involved (”involved” meaning “did not try to stop incident” as it always should).
Punishments should be horrifying.
