Wonder Woman is a feminist. Shes certainly been considered an icon of feminism at different times throughout her 76-year career. In the early 40s, when she first debuted in All-American Comics, she freed herself from chains, a symbol used by the suffragists to represent patriarchy. When Ms. launched in 1972, Wonder Woman graced its cover, solidifying her place as a feminist figure.

"Femme": a lesbian whose appearance and behavior are seen as traditionally feminine. As opposed to masculine "butch" lesbians.
The Amazons have no men on their island. The only intimate relationships they CAN have is with other Amazons. 'Wonder Woman' Just Answered The Question Of Whether The Amazons Are Lesbians
So then, they are happy to see a woman super hero, but are not happy that she is too attractive, too stereotypical of a beautiful young woman??? What the heck????
She kicks butt, but she’s too stereotypically feminine???
What exactly would they like to see????
And, among our freedoms in this country, is the freedom to make a superhero movie which meets your politically correct criteria. They are free to make a woman super hero kick butt, but not be feminine or beautiful. They can do whatever they want, and then see if they can sell tickets to the movie. Have at it.
That woman should be outside pushing a lawnmower and working up a sweat. Work her hard until she thins up and then she would probably be cute.
Ever notice how men have enough pride to never demand that women date fat slob nerdy men? We are intellectually honest enough to either fix our own physical issues with diet and exercises, acknowledge that we are out of the running and go ugly early, or we get wealthy enough that a hot mercenary ho is wiling to let us climb on. I should know, in my long life I have used all three strategies multiple times.
Damn but feminists are going beyond sickening.
Yea, when is Donna Brazille gonna play her . . . other than in her dreams.
Hey Hey Hey!
Stop, can’t get much more erect.... LOL

I’m sorry you lost your eyesight. Some of us truly enjoyed the gorgeous Miss World, Lynda Carter as WW.
Blunderwoman?
Oh, wait, that would be white bread Hillary.
“The Amazons have no men on their island. The only intimate relationships they CAN have is with other Amazons.”
So Dianna was the first comic book hero to engage in prison sex to get by? What a trailblazer!
“Another problem is the story’s overt queerness gets sublimated by heteronormativity.”
I am micro-aggressed by this great heteronormative outrage. I will be in my safe space cowering, yearning for the day when only obese disabled African American lesbians portray superheroes for social justice.

Wonder Woman staring Bruce Jenner if you loved him on CHIPs you love him as wonder woman
medea as WW?
It hits ALL the lib notes!
The left just demonstrated that it is racist after all.
What they are saying in effect is: “All women of color, especially blacks, are fat and ugly.”
I am as conservative as you can get and frankly, I have seen quite a few really good looking black women with figures that would look good in a Miss America pageant.
But the dims think they are fat and ugly.
Why any person of color would vote dim is beyond me.
You might be right, Linda Carter looked exquisite in a time before people knew how to shape their bodies. Also Linda has aged extremely well and must have fantastic genes. I am younger than her by almost 20 years and I would be happy to spend a night with her. Gal Gadot is in her league though and she has those fantastic long legs.
About the "need" for strong, female Superheroes.
Now we have a Successful, Surprisingly Good and Thankfully Unobtrusive Wonder Woman Movie.
And they aren't happy!
I take solace in the fact that The Market always decides these things in the end.

Oops. Sorry. I jumped to conclusions. TV show started in 1975.
