Comey's remarks on this are as weird as he is. If we take him as he expressed himself, he decided to leak because he believed Trump, a person he holds as a liar, when he tweets about audio recordings? "I knew the tapes were there, now I had corroborating evidence." WTF? Even if he thinks Trump is telling the truth.
I mean come on, special counsel came out, without access to Trump's tapes, if they exist.
Rosenstein HAD to get the investigations out of the FBI. Rosenstein effectively fired Comey with that memo, how the heck is the public going to trust Rosenstein with finishing investigations that Comey started. Special Counsel was a given, once Comey was fired, and I seriously doubt Trump was surprised or angered by the development. I bet the subject was discussed.
"What are we going to do with the investigations that the press is hyperventilating over, that Comey says are underway, after we fire Comey?" Can't bloody well just drop them.
Comey is bigtime part of the swamp. He was a key player in the ongoing coup attempt.
Some pertinent questions:
1 - How many times did Comey leak?
a. What was the subject of each leak?
b. When did each leak occur?
c. Who were all the recipients of those leaks? (names and entities for which they worked)
d. What was the ‘intent’ of the leaks?
2 - Did any of the recipients of the leaks then share or re-leak the info with/to anyone else?
3 - Was any of the information leaked considered sensitive, confidential or otherwise classified?
4 - Did Comey coordinate the leaks with anyone else prior to leaking?
5 - If so, which other parties were involved, and to what extent?
(The questions could go on and on, but I’ll leave it there for now. We’re only scratching the surface of Comey’s criminality.)
Hellary’s housekeeper needs to be sent to GITMO to ready a few cots.
So you are implying Comey did not use his memo notes in recalling what was said during that dinner ? Very reckless behavior.
I rarely if ever rely on memo notes when I recall conversations I've had with others. I don't think that is reckless.
There is no doubt that what you write is true.
However, leaking or trading insider information is not the same as lying under oath or perjury. That's what the thrust of this post is.
There is the problem.
