Yet, Apple itself acknowledged the problem with overheating that many user were having. As always, your usage experiences with any device may vary. Your experiences are not necessarily representative of the whole marketplace users.

The "overheating" was not true overheating. I told you what was happening. It was the fans running at top speed, even though the iMac itself was idling. Look it up. Even the SCM issue was with iMacs back in 2009. . . and as I stated was easily handled by a combination of keys that would reset the System Control Module to force the fans back to normal. The Aluminum Chassis iMac is designed to be one gigantic heat sink. . . and does quite well controlling any heat that is generated.

The "whole market place" was not ever having even the minor SCM problems. Not even a small fraction of 1% of iMac users ever experienced that minor problem, which you want people to think was a major issue, which occurred EIGHT YEARS AGO in a few iMacs. You are a FUD spreading troll.

Very few problems with iMacs. I have one, never any problems. As for resetting the System Control Module, very easy. I helped my brother-in-law reset his a couple weeks ago, for an unrelated issue. Told him to unplug the power cord, wait 15 seconds, plug it back in, wait another 5 seconds and press the power-on button. That simple. For a non-Apple machine, it probably would go to the dumpster.

BTW, that iMac price is only smoke for now, and there is no doubt that, if and when that iMac is released to market, that it will be a lot more expensive than any other similarly equipped PC. But, like I said before, that iMac is just smoke for now, and it may never materialize into the real world.
