You are partly correct of course. However, this is the swamp Trump has to slog through.
He is a brave man for doing what he’s doing.
God bless him.

Well sure. He’s solidifying his power.
The chance to get rid of him was a small window and it has passed. :)

Indeed. The media is already acting like Christmas came early.
Enough folks are delusional enough to think that somehow, some way, this is going to put “Madame President” into her “rightful place”.

Thank you for this information. The President has the constitutional authority and right to lead the country. Comey is not the President. Trump should not have to kowtow to Comey or tremble before any subordinate. The Democrats are trying to recreate Watergate. I remember Watergate and how the media pushed one narrative for months and months, trying to bring down the President, and then they tried again with another Republican president with the Sandinista business. We have a new generation that doesn’t remember the perfidy and agenda-driven lies of the Democratic-controlled media.

“The president can, as a matter of constitutional law, direct the attorney general, and his subordinate, the Director of the FBI, tell them what to do, whom to prosecute and whom not to prosecute.”
Indeed. This idea of the “independence” of the FBI is not a legal reality, it’s just a notion concocted over the last few decades by talking heads. The FBI is subordinate to the President, just like everything in the Executive branch, and is not independent at all.
If the President needs to be investigated, the proper party to investigate him is Congress, not the FBI. That’s the Constitutional solution.

Right on. Activists are Fed Up. Enough of this ##%# with those panty-waist hearings. Trump needs to go, and he needs to go now.
Mass demonstrations, shutting sh#t down, violence if necessary.

If Comey did not stop the Flynn investigation, he just lied under oath since he is trying to imply pressure.

But it WAS a smoking gun:
proving Comey obstructed Justice with Loretta Lynch AND that Comey was one of the FBI leakers AND that the NY Times prints false stories with little facts AND that McCain is senile.

Now the witch hunters have verification that Trump is a liar. This is sour grapes from a man who was outed as a dirty cop who protected Clinton from indictment by influencing the course of the F.B.I.’s investigation.
That dinner with Trump was an occasion for Trump to size Comey up as one who could be influenced to change the course of an investigation. Trump’s instincts were correct to fire him.

....see your way... Is the key phrase. Basically telling Comey he hoped or wished Comey would reach a specific finding. It was not ....you have to drop the Flynn investigation... Conclusion - Trump is a very smart man who wont fall into obvious legal traps.

It is NOT POSSIBLE for a POTUS to obstruct justice in a statutory fashion.
He IS “Justice”. What he says, goes.

Comey is another of the partisan leakers who was fired from the Trump administration.
I’d call his termination a ‘win’.

Right now on The Fox News Specialists, the guest Libtard is insisting that Trump needs to be prosecuted for asking Comey if he would drop the Flynn investigation. Criminal Interference! Treason! Get a rope! These hateful lunatics will never, ever stop.
