The presidential power couples were dressed up and ready for a night out as Trump and Melania prepared for their first social gathering in the capital, joined by Ivanka and Jared. Ivanka and Melania Trump each looked stunning as they stepped out of their respective homes in Washington, DC Sunday evening on their way to the evening's Ford's Theatre Gala. The First Daughter looked regal coming out of her Washington, DC, home hand-in-hand with Jared Sunday afternoon dressed in a $5,500 J Mendel deep red tea-length gown. And at the other end of Washington, Melania stepped out of the White House looking chic in a $2,595 floor length blush silk charmeuse dress by Filipino designer Monique Lhuillier with matching Manolo duchess pumps.

It’s not a theory. It’s a chain of facts. I’ve gone through them several times. For a while, Milo was the effective face of Breitbart. That was Bannon’s doing.

The only theory involved is the one that says a person would do that to their site while being agnostic about LGBT. That’s the theory part; the rest is factual.

Btw, I don’t think you realize what your argument is saying about the fact that Kushner’s paper hires John Schindler who is trying hard to take down Trump and his admin.

Cogitate on that for a moment.

You are using hiring and promoting and running stories as the basis to conclude that Bannon is Pro LGBT.

So what does that say about Schindler and Kushner’s paper run by his Brother in Law

LOLOL

Once again, I explained exactly what is going on with the Observer. I also said I wasn’t going to do it twice. Once was sufficient.

Yeah .sure///.because Kushner’s paper hiring , retaining, and promoting someone trying to take down trump is different than Bannon hiring , retaining and promoting someone who promotes gays.

how convenient.

The dishonesty is indescribable. Bannon was the executive chairman of Breitbart. He ran the place. Kushner never ran the Observer. Prior to the Schindler pieces, Kushner transfered his interest in the paper to the family trust.

Had Bannon transfered his interest in Breitbart to a trust *prior* to the Milo hire/promotion, we wouldn’t be having this discussion.

This is why, far from stalking you, I don’t enjoy posting to you. It’s vastly time consuming, because even the most basic things have to be explained...over and over.

WHAT????
Kushner’s brother in law is running Observer. His mother runs the trust.

Observer just canned people. They did NOT can Schindler.

Jared Kushner never ran the Observer, and since transferring his interest to the family trust, he’s even less involved.

When Milo Yiannopoulos was hired (by Bannon), Steve Bannon ruled Breitbart.

Now please, make a decent point or leave me alone. I’m tired of wasting time.

Not all of us think this dress is a dud. It’s beautiful and totally flattering to the first lady. Nothing wrong with silk or satin that picks up a shine. Plus, the color is becoming. The only way this dress could be unflattering is if a fat or unfit person wore it. That’s not the case here. She looks like a Greek goddess, in fact, with her flowing lines.

(Why has FR suddenly morphed into a D-grade Women’s Wear Daily???)

There’s an obvious explanation. But having provided it once, and having several times declined to type it out a second time, I herewith decline again.

But I do have faith in you, that you can figure this out if you really want to.

There was an article yesterday that said Ivanka was on the board or something like that for this event.

Reference to post 85: “Where were you when I was being nastily and dishonestly labeled ‘a stalker,’ even though I categorically have never stalked ANYONE???”

You all are OK with me, to a point. I can assure you I was not following these intramural cat fights in any detail to defend any particular individual one way or the other. I’d rather see all you guys just let it go and attack libs with the same vim and vigor. Carry on.

I was just trying to enjoy a non-political fashion moment and it seemed like you (& your friend miss marmelstein) were bringing unnecessary acrimony.

I come to FR to be among ‘FRiends’.
I miss the fashion threads from way back when.
And I’ve always liked Rummychick.
(tho she doesn’t know me - I’m a lurker mostly)

Clearly I walked in on some ongoing argument...
Back to lurking for me!! lol

check out new thread on Melania’s dress. Has a pic of Michelle in same designer.

I don’t like either dress.

In my opinion, this dress does not do her justice. She is a beautiful, graceful woman.

Again, IMO, it’s the fabric.... not the style of dress that’s not flattering to her.

Please don’t get me wrong, I am a huge fan of Melania and her fashion choices....99.99 percent of the time. Just my opinion...doesn’t mean I’m right or wrong.....

The two could wear a burlap sack with ease and grace, and still look beautiful. What impresses here is the fact they can raise those toned, shapely arms, show their pits and we fail to see a dark jungle growing.
