According to a post in the social-justice blog Everyday Feminism, some aspects of modern veganism are oppressive and even super trans-exclusionary. In a piece titled 4 Ways Mainstream Animal Rights Movements Are Oppressive, Mahealani Joy explains how problematic it is that when mainstream vegan feminists talk about animal rights, they are super trans-exclusionary.

Yep. That’s it in a psychotic nut shell.
Good summary.
The author, Mahealani Joy "is a Contributing Writer for Everyday Feminism and kanaka maoli queer woman currently living in the Midwest. They (sic? Maybe? I dunno?) are involved in organizing to end sexual violence against Native women and finding ways to strengthen Indigenous communities."
But THEN I see a banner asking for contributions as the website -everydayfeminism - is about to go out of business. I click through.
Were facing scary financial trouble thats threatening to put a halt to our work maybe even as soon as the end of May.
Weve realized that were just not going to be able to continue without some support from our community.
Were not the only site struggling like this, and theres a reason for that. Its quite a challenge, to say the least, to create independent, intersectional feminist media in a financially sustainable way, especially in a world that doesnt value what we do. (Emphasis added)

It is not unusual for the underdog to thrive - look at Fox's ascent during the Obama years and the flipped fortunes of Fox and MSNBC with the Trump Presidency. But if this website won't make it - and I don't wish unemployment on anyone - then there is GREAT hope that this kind of nonsense may evaporate in good time.
I must remember to stock up on popcorn. This will be a lovely fight.
from your lips to God’s ears!!!! i hope all this “trans” nonsense scurries away too.
I think their preferred way of pronouncing that is thuuuuuuper.
Gosh, it can be hard reconciling one irrationality with another. It’s like crazy people in an asylum trying to hold a lucid conversation.
It wont be long before Liberal gatherings feature no one saying a word for fear of offending someone.
The nice thing about all these left-wing bizarros is that they’re all so sure of their own particular superiority and rectitude that eventually they can’t help but turn on each other and devour themselves - Republicans of course have the opposite problem - they’re so unsure of themselves that they defensively and precipitously attack anyone who seems to disagree with them to try to convince themselves that they’re correct - I’m hoping eventually the left will catch up with them in self-destructiveness......
