Another abusive household being monitored by the state that kills a kid.

Can tell you what the parents did. “Sent her to bed without supper.” Lots of parents did that when I was growing up as a form of “punishment”. It’s very dangerous.
It’s one thing to deny a kid dessert at the end of a meal but to not let them eat at all is just wrong.

Me too. Gotten callous, but I’m literally in tears right now thinking of that girl. That poor poor girl.. being treated so horribly and suffered so much.
I struggle with my belief in God but right now I’m praying that He has her in His arms making all that pain go away.
Me too. Some people just need killing numerous times. This bunch is a prime case for the death penalty that some want to get rid of, but even the death penalty.

While your sensibilities might be insulted if the accused in this case are not sentenced to death, the major factor you are overlooking is that this is not a death penalty case. In fact, there is no death penalty in Iowa.
The accused will have a defense and I’m guessing that their defense will be that the girl was self abusive and anorexic. That part may explain her weight, but not necessarily the abuse and fall that apparently killed her.
In my personal opinion, that entire family is absolutely evil.
I agree. It’s bad enough the left try to take away the death penalty(while calling for Trump’s assassination and hurting anyone who supports him), but there are some murders that they deserve a likewise torturous death.

This and other similar abuse cases caused the geezer head of Iowa DHS to retire. He was the personal choice of former Gov. Terry Branstad. New Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds heaped effusive praise on him.
Other Iowa abuse cases have also shown a pattern of child adoption by people seeking state subsidies. People without the means to support children have been allowed to adopt and have the state become the breadwinner.
Of course, Iowa Democrats point out that state spending doesn’t support the totalitarianism that would prevent these things from happening.
Me, too. Little bit of a panic attack actually. That’s what happens when I can’t do what I really want to do.
My big question: wasn’t the girl in school up until last month? Did the school do anything?
I was not aware that Iowa had no no death penalty. But it does not surprise me.
I say leave the cuffs on so they feel as helpless as she did.
