The Colt 1903 was in .32 ACP, the 1908 is a .380....
I gave this show 2 episodes. I reeeealllly wanted to like it. I found it boring & all over the place.
And I am glad that the producers, developers of the series took the time to utilize a firearm expert in getting it right for all of us that it matters to.
I recommend this great book for background on events of those early times.
The author took the time to get the firearms carried and used by Texas Ranger Frank Hamer correctly.
Frank Hamer, below right, poses with dead raiders at the Norias Ranch near Kingsville, Texas, on August 9, 1915. The Ranger on the left appears to be Jim Dunaway. They are holding the captured battle flag between them. This battle was among those fought on American soil during the Mexican Revolution.
