I take it he’s a Navy Captain (O-6) not an Army, Air Force or Marine Captain (O-3) right? Why not send a C-130 “Puff the Magic Dragon” to eliminate them?

We need to make up our minds as to who the bad guys are at the moment. Both the Syrian government and the Iranians are fighting the Sunni ISIS forces.

There are only two legitimate goals we can have in Syria: (1) support the current regime, or (2) replace the current regime. Option 2 will lead to an even worse regime that hates the West even more, so it is unacceptable. We need to support Assad, whom I despise, or get out.

We can’t let the mean Iranians mistreat poor little ISIS.

Time to ask Israel for help, including air support.

We need to make up our minds as to who the bad guys are at the moment. Both the Syrian government and the Iranians are fighting the Sunni ISIS forces. And that's the conundrum in a nutshell. How do you fight a war (is it a war?) when you can't clearly identify the enemy?
The muzz slimes, all of them, have clearly stated who the enemy is, and it is us. Too bad the West doesn't understand that.

It’s now un-American to express such a view. National sovereignty and the Constitutional restraint are so last century. Please report to the nearest reeducation center for the latest neocon propaganda update.

Movie goers got a chance to see an AC-130 in action in the first "Transformers" movie:
Bring the Rain (against Scorpinok - a Decepticon).

It’s illegal for Syrian government troops, supported by allies they invited in, to move into certain parts of their country. Got it.

One of Obama’s biggest f**k-ups was his meddling in Syria. He was an absolute amateur whose idiotic actions have cost the lives of hundreds of thousands. A pox be on his memory!

NATO propaganda. They aren’t massing fit an attack an American base. Does anyone seriously believe that assad has suddenly decided that NOW would be a good time to attack America? This is our cover story to go after pro-assad forces, nothing more.
