The Japs never apologized, why should we?

I know what the guy was thinking but he can’t do that in these times.

"The Japs never apologized, why should we?"

This "Jap" had nothing to do with WWII. By all accounts, he is a nice guy.

The debt they owed us for Pearl Harbor was paid in full by Hiroshima, Nagasaki and their unconditional surrender.

FYI, the Japanese did apologize and have repeatedly apologized since their surrender. The Emperor even attempted to apologize to MacArthur in person but MacArthur refused to accept the apology or even meet with the Emperor.

You know what ? SCREW THAT.

The Japanese are some of the most racist people I have ever met. There is a legendary Japanese motorsport called “Drifting”. Right now, most of the field is Japanese but there are a few Americans who are at the top of the field as well.

You should hear what they have to say about that. Screw the japanese. Put your Hello Kitty briefcase down, pull down your authentic vending-machine girls panties and squat to use the “toilet” because both sides of this story need to be told.

Listening to these androgynous showboats talk about Gaijin invading “their” sport while chain smoking Marlboros and shopping for $40 hairproducts and smoker-toothpastes. Feh. Who needs em.

Strange, I never saw any such claim in the article. What's wrong with you?

That was three generations of Japanese ago. They have been steadfast friends of the US since the 1950s and PM Abe was the first foreign leader to greet Trump as president. I have no more animus against the Japanese than I do against the Russian people and quite frankly, after the NATO summit last week, I have far more animus toward the smirking Belgians, French, Germans and Luxeumburgese who won’t bear their share of NATO defense costs while we pay 73 percent of it. Indy is a world race and that is one reason why it is the greatest of auto races.

And if he is over 90 years old, he may be responsible for that. If he isn’t, he is as guilty of war atrocities as any white southerner today is for slavery.

Actually they did apologize. Multiple times. But the war ended over 70 years ago! Japan and the U.S. are today close allies. Nobody in Japan today has anything to apologize for, just like you and I don't need to apologize for slavery prior to the Civil War.

However, since I was growing up during the 1970s, I guess I do owe the world an apology for disco and bell-bottom pants.
