I've read this a few times and I'm sure it's both grammatically and factually incorrect.
Yeah some father Cher was. They sure screwed that up.
I disagree. All of their music is still here and online at our fingertips as well. I never dreamed of having such a collection of music to play instantly.
That was a Dicky Betts tune.
“Butch Trucks and now Greg Allman.”
The days of our youth are truly past and only the sweet memories remain.
Wait a minute, what were you wearing? I might have seen you.
I was at that concert as well. Worst sound... ever. Being the 1st concert in the superdome they had not quite figured it out.

Man, that must have been one hell of a show.
Remember the floor...it was hard. I think it started around 1pm? Got down around midnight?
Before Duane was killed right?
One million of my friends and I were at Simon and Garfunkel’s 1981 Central Park reunion concert.
I’m 5’9”.... I was with a 5’11 1/2” tall ash blonde
Yes.

I liked the band, but his hippie followers seemed to be extra smelly and burnt. I left Red Rocks and couldn’t wait to take a shower.
Thanks for the pictures. Brings back memories. Greg Allman was a unique talent. I saw the Allmans many times including one time in 1970 when they opened for an underground band at the time called Pink Floyd. Greg also had a laid back way of playing that Hammond that was cool. RIP Greg.
