The Psyche spacecraft is being built by Space Systems Loral (SSL), Palo Alto, California. Worthy mission? Yes.
Is that the outfit responsible for ALL of China's nukes? Yes.
They couldn't get the ICBM's off the pad and Loral simply HANDED the tech right over.

There is a logistics problem in getting the metal to market that won’t be solved anytime soon unless a breakthrough in technology happens. Nothing gets people thinking out of the box quite like a chance to cash in on quadrillions of dollars, though.
