I cut out TV and landline phone today with Comcast, and just have internet.
Got a Roku Ultra, and am discovering the world of internet content.
This, after watching FoxNews faithfully for 20 years.
Their decline with me starting with the primary debate hosted by Megan Kelly, Brett Baier, and Chris Wallace in August, 2015.
The unmasking began then, and continued. At the end, I was only watching Judge Jeanine, and also Lou Dobbs and Stuart Varney on FBN.
The entire nighttime lineup is now completely FUBAR.
I could not keep losing IQ points watching the Fox “B” and “C” teams.
Plus I was sick of the entire “fair and balanced” format—you tell me the news, and then bring 2-4 people on to tell me what you just told me about.
I feel like scales have fallen from my eyes.
My bill with Comcast just decreased by 50%.
I did that about four years ago.
Only use a cell phone now. Works great for me.
I subscribed to Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix.
There’s a lot of content on them. Hulu is a great resource for current television shows.
When I joined Amazon’s Prime program, it gave me access to their videos and also free shipping on many of the items I buy on Amazon.
At any rate, good luck with your new setup.
I should mention, all these services can be used on my television, computer, ipads, and iphone.
