Guardian reporter Ben Jacobs claimed Wednesday night that Montana Republican Greg Gianforte "body slammed" him, breaking his glasses in the process, after Jacobs asked him a question about health care.
The altercation happened during an event for Gianforte, who is running for Montana's only congressional seat in a special election set for Thursday, at his campaign headquarters just south of Bozeman, Mont. BuzzFeed News reporter Alexis Levinson retweeted Jacobs' allegation and said that she was present at the altercation. "Ben walked into a room where a local TV crew was set up for an interview with Gianforte. All of a sudden I heard a giant crash and saw Ben's feet fly in the air as he hit the floor," she said in a series of tweets.

The media is all in with the Deep State. The treachery, lying, and deceit is gonna get worse as we get closer to November of next year.
Should get Gianforte a few more votes here in Montana.

If this is true,I’d vote for Gianforte twice. What is a Left-wing British paper doing in Montana messing with the Republican’s campaign anyway? Sounds like a Democrat dirty trick ala Hillary-style.
Don’t you understand? If this goes unpunished, it will turn the media against Trump and the Republicans and all that fair, balanced news reporting they’ve been doing on the nation’s political issues and parties will vanish. They will become ardently pro-Democrat, will criticize all the Republicans do, and even may push for Trump’s impeachment.
Keep pushing your luck, Ben--and end up in a body cast.

I heard the audio. I hate little schmucky reporters too, but you can’t bodyslam them. Especially not the night before the election. If this was assault, even if he was “asking for it,” it is not ok. He may well be charged.
