Gowdy’s not stupid, but he is clearly compromised. That IMO is why he wanted to leave Congress and has been allowed to lead such sham investigations.
He is good at holding hearings.

If anyone knows what a “goon” is in hockey, Gowdy is the political equivalent.
A goon is brought on by a team strictly for their rough physical play and propensity to engage in fights. Yet they have very poor scoring ability.

My first thought as well. Excluding the murders and overt lies, Trey’s resume is as good as BJ’s wife’s.
For six years in the House of Representatives, Trey was COMPLICIT with all of his colleagues in the Fraud’s crimes against America.
There’s an alleged freeper who likes to retort that since bringing impeachment charges against the Fraud “wouldn’t have done any good”, Trey is excused for not having done so.
